I spent five minutes this morning tearing my apartment apart looking for a pair of trousers I wanted to wear. Five minutes of cursing like a drunken sailor. Five minutes of ripping through bundles of clothes like a shopaholic on the first day of the January sales at Harrods. Five minutes, in short, of ridiculousness. We've all been there, haven't we?
So, guess where my jeans were. After all that searching guess where my jeans were. Yes, that's right...I was wearing them.
I had a great day out in Krakow yesterday but I think it's affected me quite a lot. It's a beautiful and captivating place and I'm sure that the unfortunate contrast with my current city hit me firmly in the brain area leaving me pretty much debilitated.
I'll get to a post about Krakow shortly but in the meantime here is a photo. Now where did I put it....

Note: I especially love the face peering out from behind the church.

Heehee...you sound like Pan Hilary, who was looking for his eyeglasses whilst wearing them.
And Krakow is indeed beautiful. So very, very...
yes, it is, isn't it? i'd love to live there. maybe next year once my girlfriend has finished her masters in this concrete block of a city. fingers crossed!
Do you ever step out onto the street and wonder if you did put you pants on that day? Occasionally, in the morning, I have to double check.
I do enjoy that square in Krakow. I too sometimes look from here in the Middle East to Poland as the grass being greener and calmer...maybe I should just try it for 10 months.
Thanks for the link to my page too.
Cheers,
Lon
